 Quickstart Guide

1.

Remove Roaster Cabinet from box and set on table.  Carefully remove all packing materials and tape.

2.

Install exhaust stem and exhaust system onto roaster cabinet and plug in halogen lamp cord, roaster cabinet power cord, and AC exhaust system power supply cord.  Install front glass cover assembly by fastening the bracket to the top pivot bracket at the front top of the coffee roaster.

3.

To load green coffee beans, push down the front coffee roaster elevator lever, rotate the glass cover away from the front of the coffee roaster into the load docking position, rotate glass cover into roasting position at front of coffee roaster.

4.

Turn on infrared quartz halogen, internal ceramic heating element, and activate drum motor to begin roasting.

5.

Once smoke is visible and the sound of 1st crack can be heard (a loud snapping sound) turn exhaust system fan motor on and return front roaster elevator to original position to level coffee roaster.

6.

Once the desired roast temperature and bean color is achieved, push down on the coffee roaster rear elevator in preparation for dumping the roasted coffee beans and place the glass roaster cover into dump/docking position to dump the roasted beans into the cool down pan.  Activate the cool down pan power supply switch.

7.

Inspect vent conduit for buildup every 100 lbs. of roasted beans for the first 500 pounds of roasted beans and every 200 lbs. thereafter.  If vent buildup is substantial it may be necessary to clean with soap and water.

8.

Cleaning the glass viewing window with light coffee residue use 70% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol).  If buildup is heavier cleanup may accomplished with orange based solvent of if buildup is even heavier an oven cleaner can be used.
