 Quickstart Guide

1.

Remove Roaster Cabinet from box and set on table.  Carefully remove all packing materials and tape.

2.

Install exhaust stem and exhaust system onto roaster cabinets and plug in halogen array cords, roaster cabinet power cords, and exhaust system power supply cord. Install rotating glass covers with brackets onto top cover bolt assembly.

3.

To load green beans, rotate dual coffee roasters into load position.

4.

Turn on quartz halogen door heat arrays, internal ceramic heating elements, and activate drum motors to begin roasting.

5.

Once smoke is visible and the sound of 1st crack can be heard (a loud snapping sound) turn exhaust system fan motor on.

6.

Once beans are roasted to desired color (usually a minute or two after sound of first crack), and while drum motor is still turning, rotate dual coffee roasters into bean dumping position.

7.

It's possible to raise or lower the internal roasting temperature by controlling temperature inputs by switching on/off the internal heating element or the halogen heating door array.

8.

Inspect vent conduit for buildup every 500 bs. of roasted beans for the first 200 pounds of roasted beans and every 1000 lbs. thereafter.  If vent buildup is substantial it may be necessary to clean with soap and water.

9.

Cleaning the glass viewing window, door and cabinet can be accomplished with alcohol based  solvent of if buildup is heavier an oven cleaner can be used in a ventilated area.
