1. |
Remove TostaCaffe' Roaster Cabinet from box and set on table. Carefully remove all packing materials and tape. Install roaster drum into cabinet. |
2. |
Install exhaust system onto roaster cabinet and plug in halogen lamp cord, roaster cabinet power cord, and AC exhaust system power supply cord. It may be necessary to plug the 1500 watt halogen lamp assembly into a separate 15 amp or 20 amp outlet. |
3. |
Remove drum from roaster, pull drum door, place green beans (1-8 lbs.) and insert loaded drum into TostaCaffe' Coffee Bean Roaster. |
4. |
Turn on Halogen Lamp switch on door and roaster cabinet timer switch. |
5. |
Once smoke is visible and the sound of 1st crack can be heard (a loud snapping sound) turn exhaust system fan motor on. |
6. |
Once beans are roasted, open roaster door, turn roaster off, remove drum and dump beans into pan for cooling - you can safely remove drum from roaster while drum motor is still on. |
7. |
It's possible to raise or lower the internal roasting temperature by operating power switches on the halogen door assembly, internal ceramic heating element, or the exhaust system motor. |
8. |
Inspect vent conduit for buildup every 200 lbs. of roasted beans for the first 1000 pounds of roasted beans and every 200 lbs. thereafter. If vent buildup is substantial it may be necessary to clean with soap and water. |
9. |
Cleaning the door and cabinet can be accomplished with orange based solvent of if buildup is heavier an oven cleaner can be used. |
