Quickstart Model A Guide!!!

Remove Micro
TostaCaffe' Model A Roaster
Cabinet from box and set on table. Carefully remove all
packing materials and tape. Install roaster drum into cabinet. |

Install exhaust system
onto roaster cabinet and plug in halogen door lamp cord, roaster cabinet
power cord. Highly
recommended 20 amp outlet. |

Remove drum from roaster,
pull drum door, place green beans (1-4 lbs.) and insert loaded drum
into Micro TostaCaffe' Model A Coffee Bean Roaster. |

Turn on both Halogen Lamp
switch on door and roaster rear heating element switch.. |
5. |
Once smoke is visible and
the sound of 1st crack can be heard (a loud snapping sound) open
exhaust valve. |

Once beans are roasted,
open roaster door, turn roaster off, remove drum and dump beans into
pan for cooling - you can safely remove drum from roaster while drum
motor is still on. |

Cooling down small batches
in a cool down pan can be done with a small hand blower. This blower can also be
used to remove remaining chaff from the cabinet and drum. |
8. |
Inspect vent conduit for
buildup every 50 lbs. of roasted beans for the first 500 pounds of
roasted beans and every 200 lbs. thereafter. If vent buildup
is substantial it may be necessary to clean with soap and water. |
9. |
Cleaning the door glass can be accomplished with
rubbing alcohol solvent of if buildup
is heavier oven cleaner can be used. |
