Micro TostaCaffe'
Quickstart Guide!!!
|
|
1. |
Remove Micro
TostaCaffe' Roaster

packing materials and tape. Install roaster drum into cabinet.

recommended 20 amp outlet. |
|
3. |
Remove drum from roaster,
pull drum door, place green beans (1-4 lbs.) and insert loaded drum
into Micro TostaCaffe' Coffee Bean Roaster. For first
time roasting it would be better to start with 2 lb. batches as it
provides more reaction time for dumping roasted beans. |
|
4. |
Turn on both Halogen Lamp
switch on door and roaster cabinet timer switch past 20 minutes. |
|
5. |
Once smoke is visible and
the sound of 1st crack can be heard (a loud snapping sound) turn
exhaust system fan motor on. |
|
6. |
Once beans are roasted,
switch halogen door array off, open roaster door, remove drum and dump beans into
pan for cooling, turn roaster timer switch off. |
|
7. |
Inspect vent conduit for
buildup every 200 lbs. of roasted beans for the first 1000 pounds of
roasted beans and every 500 lbs. thereafter. If vent buildup
is substantial it may be necessary to clean with soap and water. |
|
8. |
Cleaning the door and
cabinet can be accomplished with alcohol (rubbing alcohol for light
build up), if buildup
is heavier an oven cleaner can be used in a well ventilated area. |
